Users who purchased a previous version of TrashMe can upgrade to version 3 at a discounted price. The procedure depends on where TrashMe was previously purchased:
Purchase on the Mac App Store
First of all, be aware that Apple does not offer any mechanism to offer updates on the Mac App Store. Instead, we suggest you buy a pack including TrashMe 2 and TrashMe 3. As you already own TrashMe 2, you will only have to pay the price difference between the price of the pack and the price you paid for get TrashMe 2. Note that the price of the pack is the same as the price of TrashMe 3. View the app bundle in the Mac App Store
Purchase in our store
Go to our webstore and on the line “Upgrade from TrashMe 2” click on the button “Buy”. You will then be prompted to enter the email address that was used for your previous purchase. If you no longer have access to this email address, enter the address anyway, as this allows us to verify in our database that you have purchased TrashMe.
