Brand new dashboard in TrashMe 3

Our cleaner and uninstaller for macOS, TrashMe 3, has just been released with a brand new dashboard, many improvements and several bug fixes. This update 3.3.2 is free and recommended for all our users.

New dashboard

In this version, we’ve completely revamped the dashboard to show more information, like in our Smart Mode. Now you can get detailed information about your system Disk, your processor, battery, memory, network, accessories and macOS version. We feature two modes: basic information (default) with only some essential information, and Advanced information.

S.M.A.R.T information

We now display information about the health of your main disk. S.M.A.R.T. (Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology) is a monitoring system included in computer hard disk drives (HDDs), solid-state drives (SSDs) and eMMC drives. Its primary function is to detect and report various indicators of drive reliability with the intent of anticipating imminent hardware failures. In the new dashboard, advanced mode, we’re showing the S.M.A.R.T. status of your disk, its health and its temperature. You can get more information by clicking the “INFO” button.

Improvements and bug fixes

We’ve improved the function that searches for apps updates, to be more reliable. We’ve also fixed several bugs like Finder error messages, accent color on new iMac M1 and missing localization strings.
