Improved Smart Mode in TrashMe 3.5

Today, we’re very happy to announce an update to our cleaner and uninstaller for macOS, TrashMe 3. This version 3.5 includes an improved Smart Mode to monitor the health of your Mac, and dozen of improvements and fixes.

Our smart mode gains a much-requested feature: the icon in the menu bar can be replaced by information on the battery level, on the processor use or temperature, or even on the memory pressure. So you always keep an eye on the most relevant information for you.

Among the other new features, the maintenance mode gains two new functions: the possibility of assigning an alternative icon for TrashMe (a version with rounded corners and a classic version which takes up the design of version 2 of TrashMe) and the possibility of adjusting the battery low power mode. In addition, it’s now possible to exclude an app update only for a specific version, instead of excluding the whole app. Very handy when you want to ignore only a particular update.

Finally, this new version of TrashMe improves the responsiveness of the app as well as support for the new Mac Studio. Many bugs, especially related to Bluetooth devices, have also been fixed.

This update is free for all users of TrashMe 3.
