Researchers have found that light emitted by those electronics could be harmful to your health. As stated <a href=\"http:\/\/www.health.harvard.edu\/staying-healthy\/blue-light-has-a-dark-side\" target=\"_blank\">on this article<\/a> by Harvard Medical School:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Light at night is part of the reason so many people don&rsquo;t get enough sleep. While light of any kind can suppress the secretion of melatonin, blue light at night does so more powerfully.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>That&rsquo;s why we developed a powerful <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jibapps.com\/apps\/displays\/\">night mode in our app Displays<\/a>, to reduce unwanted effects of lights, when you&rsquo;re working on your Mac at night. But this is not an issue for Displays because we&rsquo;re simulating screen dimming.<\/p>\n<p>In latest <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jibapps.com\/support\/?anchor=releasenotes&#038;releasenotes-displays\">version 1.5<\/a>, we also introduced scheduling. Night mode can automatically be enabled either in a user-defined period of time or based on sunset \/ sunrise of where you&rsquo;re living.
