Select your monitor resolution easily
Click on Displays icon in the upper-right corner of your screen and choose your monitor resolution among all supported resolutions.
Hidden resolutions
You’d like to set other resolution than those offered by macOS? No problem at all! Displays is listing even hidden resolutions.
Multi-monitors
Displays supports all active monitors attached to your Mac, including AirPlay monitor. With one click, you can enable or disable mirroring mode.
Custom labels
To easily identify a resolution, you can set a custom label instead of resolution width/height.
Group by Retina
You may choose or not to group Retina resolutions, and even hide too-small resolutions.
Rest your eyes with our Night mode
Light at night is part of the reason so many people don’t get enough sleep (learn more in our blog). When night is coming, you can enable a night mode to rest your eyes and avoid unwanted of lights, especially blue light.
With just one click, or with a keyboard shortcut, you can switch to macOS Dark theme (10.9 or later), lower screen brightness, reduce blue light emitted by your display, enable grayscale mode or even set another wallpaper. If your screen does not support brightness control, Displays will simulate screen dimming.
And night mode can be scheduled, either in a user-defined period or based on sunset/sunrise.
Virtual mouse pointer highlighter for your presentations
Displays can act like a virtual laser pointer. All screen will be dimmed, except the part where your mouse cursor is. Clicks can also be visually highlighted and a sound can be played. Last but not least, everything is customizable (screen color, opacity, highlight radius…).
‘Picture-in-Picture’ mode
If you want to watch what your secondary monitor is displaying (for example, if this monitor is in another room, or not visible), Displays can enable a Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode overlay, that you can move everywhere. And PiP can be enabled for more than one monitor.

 Hide your desktop With one click, hide all your desktop icons, without loosing drag & drop support of your desktop. You may also use a keyboard shortcut. |
 Screen calibration Show a Test Card to help in monitor or video-projector calibration. Displays supports all screen ratios (4:3, 16:10 or 16:9). |
 Keyboard shortcuts Set customizable keyboard shortcuts to activate all functions, like changing resolution, enabling night mode or locating mouse pointer. |
 Notifications Get notifications when a monitor is plugged-in or plugged-out or when resolution is changed (other events are supported too). |
 Information about monitor Get detailed information about your monitors, like serial number, manufacturing date, current color profile… but also active graphic card. |
